Diverse Ayres Fine Art is a cautionary tale of the peril of having a passion for art and collecting. Janet and I have been collecting for nearly 30 years. Over the last two decades we have enjoyed a part-time “career” as a dealer in fine art. We love the pursuit of great art, but really enjoy researching the pieces and artists and educating our clients. We are committed to offering wonderful art by well-known and not so well-known artists at reasonable prices.

The name Diverse Ayres comes from a collection of English songs dating from the Renaissance. This reflects our interest in music as well as describing the eclectic collection offered. The focus of the art is American and European artists from 1880-2000 with emphasis on the Arts and Crafts and Mid-Century periods. However, we have art from the 15th century to the late 20th century as well as artists from all over the world. We also specialize in art with musical subjects.

While our business is part-time, we have a full-time commitment to your satisfaction. Diverse Ayres operates to the highest ethical standards of honesty and integrity.
