Lake and Mountains by Marble Photos

This is a stunning hand colored photograph of a western scene. The location is not given, but the mountains look like Glacier or perhaps the Tetons. Wherever it is, it is a beautifully composed scene with snow-covered mountains framed by branches from a birch or aspen in the foreground. The mountains are reflected in a lake, but somewhat indistinctly giving an impressionist feel to the work. The photographer is not given, but there is an annotation Marble Photo lower right. I've looked for information on what is presumably a studio without success. The piece is in excellent condition, especially given it is nearly 100 years old. The colors are saturated without fading. There is no damage to the piece. It is in a period frame, probably original to the photograph. The framed size is 22 x 14.5 inches. A beautiful photograph.
