Stormy Landscape by Stanley Dudek

This is a watercolor by noted Chicago artist Stanley (Stan) Dudek. It is a coastal scene that features a rocky coastline with dark, turbulent clouds. It's rendered in an impressionist style that is typical of Dudek's work. The colors are dark and foreboding. Some skeletal vegetation is present in the foreground adding to the bleakness of the landscape. A very dramatic image. The piece is unframed and in very good condition. It is signed Stan Dudek lower right. It is painted on a heavier paper, almost a card stock. It is 18 x 8.75 inches. The colors are not faded and there are no condition issues, including no tears, paper loss, toning, or staining. A nice example of the artist's work.
